Google’s official documentation and DeepMind reporting describe Weather Lab as a research interface for viewing and comparing AI weather forecasts. It gives visitors a concrete way to inspect the forecasts rather than relying solely on a model announcement.
The We Are So Done take
We taught machines to predict the weather. Then we gave everyone an interface for comparing their predictions. We can now bring model disagreements to a conversation that used to be “looks like rain.” A tremendous advance for people who cannot leave anything alone.
